Giant Picnic - Wellington

About the Event

We’re transforming Frank Kitts into one giant DJ led picnic, complete with pop up bars, food trucks and aesthetic picnic styling.

Kicking off with a jazz band then DJs with live music elements, spinning all the way through to sunset. We will have drinks flowing, lawn games, ice cream scooped to order, and space to sprawl, sip, snack and dance.

Ticket incudes:

•  DJs and live music
• Access to pop up bars with cocktails, wine, beer and plenty of non-alcoholic options
• Styled set up, sun umbrellas
• Lawn games
• Ice cream cart + food trucks on site
• Interactive games with prizes (no pressure to participate)
• As always, our Snacka Changi & Chill zone will pop up with free Changi Chips

FAQs

What’s the dress code?

Garden Party or summer wedding energy. Floaty dresses, linen sets, tailored shorts, light shirts and anything you feel good in. A look that works for lounging on the grass and dancing later on.

Are kids allowed?

Children can come, provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They don’t need a ticket.

Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately no dogs are allowed for this event. But check out our March Paws & Pours event, which is specifically for our furry friends and their owners.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

No, sorry.

You can’t bring in any outside drinks of any kind, including water.

We have free bottled water thanks to Oravida, plus water coolers onsite. You’re welcome to bring an empty water bottle to refill.

No alcohol. If outside alcohol is found on site, we lose our liquor license and have to shut the bars down, please don’t be “that guy.”
Security will be checking bags on arrival.

Unfortunately, no outside food is allowed for this one, we want to support our local food truck vendors (who also make it possible for us to serve the cocktails you love) we have some of your fav food trucks on board!

What’s at the bar?

We have a great selection of SOHO wine, Sawmill beer, Good Spirits cocktails, Clean Collective RTDs and non-alcoholics from Alba and Pete’s Natural. Please note, we are a cashless bar.

Sun & shade
We’ll have Melitta sunscreen available on site, plus market umbrellas and parasols floating around for shade throughout the afternoon.
